Every year, the Appentra team visits Barcelona Supercomputing Centre (BSC) to participate in a PRACE Advanced Training Centre (PATC) course on parallel programming.
On Tuesday 18th, our team will be teaching key concepts in how to parallelize key parallel patterns by using while giving participants the opportunity to improve their experience by using Parallelware Trainer.
In this 3 hour course we will demonstrate how to use Parallelware Trainer, simplifying the understanding of how and why to use OpenMP, and how to quickly and effectively use OpenMP in real applications. By using Parallelware Trainer participants will also be able to minimise and nearly eliminate the introduction of syntax errors and race conditions as they are guided through the parallelisation process, enabling them to focus on understanding rather than hunting down errors.
About PATC Courses
The mission of the PRACE Advanced Training Centres (PATCs) is to carry out and coordinate training and education activities that enable the European research community to utilise the computational infrastructure available through PRACE.
