These are the highlights:
- Dynamization, collaboration and mutual support in the development of R & D projects conducted by staff of both institutions.
- Development and programming of training activities.
- Mutual collaboration in the development of projects related to the design, development and maintenance of HPC applications
- Provide CETA-CIEMAT beta versions of the software that produces Appentra so it can be tested exclusively by its users.
The Center for Advanced Technologies Extremadura (CETA) is a CIEMAT‘s center devoted to research, IT and communications service development for the benefit of science, industry and society, located in the Spanish region of Extremadura. The CETA-CIEMAT core is a computer center based on GRID. It is part of the European network GRID (EGEE network) and promoter of the Latin American network of GRID centers (particularly EELA project). In this sense, the CETA-CIEMAT is an active promoter of eScience programs, identified as large-scale scientific activities that are carried out through distributed global collaborations between scientific institutions of various kinds around the world.
